Newborn & Infant (0-1)
Welcome to the world, little one! Well baby exams in this stage are frequent, focusing on rapid growth and development. We'll monitor weight, height, and head circumference and check for reflexes and developmental milestones. It's also a great time to ask questions about feeding, sleeping, and anything else on your mind!
Your dedicated Newborn Patient Advocate (NPA) connects with you pre-birth, answering questions and guiding you through those first precious weeks. Think of them as your personalized pediatric concierge! They'll even schedule a pre-baby tour of COPA to ease your mind. Focus on those snuggles; we've got you covered.
Your newborn's first well check is an exciting time! We recommend scheduling this visit within 2-4 days after birth, followed by another at the 14-day mark. During these appointments, we'll examine your baby, monitor their development, and answer any questions you have about caring for your little one in those first crucial months. We also offer resources about your baby's upcoming immunizations and screenings.
