Our Integrated Approach

At COPA, we believe in supporting your child's whole health, mind, and body. Our integrated behavioral healthcare brings together our amazing pediatricians and behavioral health clinicians to create a safe and inclusive space for children of all ages.

This collaborative approach means we can address a wide range of concerns, from social anxieties and hyperactivity to challenges with sleep or processing difficult experiences. We take a family-centered approach, working with parents and children to understand the root of the issue and develop the right support system. This may include in-person or virtual counseling, as well as connecting you with long-term specialists if needed.

Every child develops at their own pace, but some signs might indicate your child could benefit from extra support. These include frequent meltdowns, increased anxiety, social awkwardness, changes in sleep patterns, or unusual shifts in behavior. If you have any behavioral healthcare concerns, COPA's behavioral health team is here to listen and help your child thrive.

Nurturing your child's emotional well-being is just as important as their physical health. We offer a range of resources and support to help them develop healthy coping mechanisms, navigate challenges, and build strong social skills. Talk to your pediatrician to learn more about our behavioral therapy for kids.

ADHD Assessment Process

If you have concerns about your child's attention span, activity level, or impulsivity,  COPA is here to help. Our ADHD assessment process begins with a simple phone consultation. When you call our main line at 541.389.6313, ask to be transferred to the ADHD Coordinator. During our initial chat, we’ll answer your questions and guide you through the next steps. Then, we’ll have you complete some forms about your child’s behavior (find those to the right), followed by an in-office appointment with a provider.

We understand this can be a confusing time, and COPA is committed to providing you with the information and support you need throughout the process.
