COPAÂ MyHealth Messaging for Non-Urgent Concerns
MyHealth messaging is a convenient way to communicate with your child’s care team about non-urgent medical questions or requests. Please note that responses may take up to 3 days for a response depending on the nature of your message.
For urgent concerns, please call our office to schedule a visit. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Billing for Certain MyHealth Messages
Some services provided through MyHealth messaging are now a standard part of healthcare. Beginning April 1st 2026 Central Oregon Pediatric Associates (COPA) may bill for MyHealth message requests that require a provider to spend five or more minutes of clinical time and medical expertise to review and respond.

- Notable changes in a long-standing medical issue

Most MyHealth messages will continue at no charge to you including:
- Administrative requests such as Forms or Record requests or requesting to schedule an appointment
- Prescription refill requests without changes
- Questions that result in scheduling a same day or imminent visit
- Brief updates that do not require medical evaluation
